Complex Systems Research Group @ UA Anchorge

A small group of curious and inquiring faculty, students and members of the community began meeting on the University of Alaska Anchorage Campus in 1998, seeking a means to develop and facilitate discussion among individuals interested in complex systems theory and practice. Their early roundtable discussions back in 1998 were somewhat informal but laid a crucial foundation for the growth of complex systems at UAA. A formal seminar series was organized and introduced to the campus in January 1999, our guest lecture series and curriculum development began in 2001 and continues through today, we are beginning to align with industry for problem resolution, and we look forward to continued expansion.
